Reading and Writing Night 2011

Shelebrate Your Love of Reading!

On February 17, 2011, from 6-8 PM, Scanlan Oaks Elementary will be holding its annual Reading and Writing Night.  This year 's theme is "Shelebrate Your Love of Reading!" Why Shelebrate? We will be celebrating the famous works of author Shel Silverstein along with visits from guest artists who will make this a memorable night.  With Silverstein's "Giving Tree" book as an inspiration we will have giving trees in the hallway where students can donate a gently used or new book, dvd, or video game. These items will be donated to the Sienna Friends of Library.
