Math Tutoring

EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT

Are you a parent, grandparent, or friend of SOE who would like to share your math skills? We need you!!

In early fall we will receive a list of students who could use a little extra assistance each week with their math lessons, and the math tutors work with the teachers to provide that help.  We will work with your schedule to match you to a student or students who need assistance.  We are asking that you can commit to one or two days each week for the whole school year, in a 20 or 30 minute interval that will remain the same all year.  It is a very rewarding experience, and you will cherish the time spent working with some really great children.  You can even let us know if you are more comfortable working in the younger or older grades for instance, and you will pull the children from their classroom to the extended day room for uninterrupted learning time! The teachers provide the lessons, you provide your wisdom and guidance.
